I had 2 employees tonight who bith went out of their way to give us EXTRA GREAT customer service, late evening of Nov.29. Christian in flooring was extra helpful, patient, and very kind. Carlos in the dept. for tile and backsplashes killed himself to get info for us and to find boxes of tile that were hidden behind other boxes, etc. A+ for both young gentlemen!!!
This Home Depot is nothing short of excellent. There are two particular employees there that are worth their weight. Jim Moore and Lillian Montalvo. Jim Moore, during the frantic skirmish of Hurricane Irma whipped out the lawn chairs for the people and I that had been waiting 16 hrs for plywood. It really stayed with me when he got down to a elderly womans eye level and let her know that they are doing everything in their power to get trucks to stop by their store. He made sure we were cmfortable throughout the long wait and it was worth it in the end. Lillian helped me to find the most for my buck in obtaining an ant killer that would be effective, long lasting and well priced. She believes in the products provided by Home Depot because she has tested its mettle. Great service. I hardly go anywhere for my home needs!
Staff not very helpful. you talk to 4 different people and wait an hour until someone actually pays you enough mind to answer your question, or get you something you need. And that is only if walking away and ignoring you doesn't work for them. They don't have a large plumbing selection. And I usually only find that they only stock about 75% of what you actually need. I would happily waste the extra gas driving to lowes for the remainder of my project needs.
This location is my favorite in FL. Generally the staff has a genuine friendly attitude. They seem drawn toward engaging with the guests and seek to invest time and interests with the guests' projects. More often than any other location my friends and I find this store more organized, clean and inviting. I have often witness the staff anticipate a guest's needs even when the customer didn't even notice there was one (moving things out of the way for approaching guest/replacing items that fell out of a guest's hand cart/replacing damaged item a guest placed into their handcart). No matter what time I go there, if I am taking a full cart out, there always seems to be one or more staff members eager to assist either myself or my friends. It is great to know that if one of the women in my life go there to purchase large or heavy items, they will always be assisted with courtesy, promptness and respect. This kind of commitment to guests and their projects makes this location not just a location on the map, it makes them part of the community, something that seem to be lacking in today's America.
Could not get through the store Isles were being blocked with over merchandise boxes with wheelbarrows that needed to be put together just boxes everywhere could not go down the aisles to do any kind of shopping I will not go shopping there until after Christmas due to the fact of their overstocking that Isles I was using a wheelchair and definitely no place for one so my shopping was cut down very short
